Raised in a Russian immigrant family on Long Island, she began her career as an actress before signing as the first artist on Steve Madden’s 5Towns Records. Her 2018 debut EP Afraid of the Dark featured the breakout single “Dancing in a Room,” earning over 30 million streams and Billboard chart success.

Since then, EZI has released multiple projects, including isolation demos and her 2024 album Into Your Power, Into the Light, while also writing for artists like Kaskade, Sabrina Claudio, and Party Favor. Her viral cover of “Take My Breath Away” became a top-used Instagram Reels song with over 18 million streams. Now based in Los Angeles, EZI continues to craft music that explores identity, vulnerability, and emotional resilience.
