Tara Nome Doyle is a Berlin-based singer-songwriter with Norwegian and Irish roots, known for intimate, emotionally charged music that blends folk, experimental pop, and art-song.
She first broke through with her single Down with You, now past six million streams, followed by her acclaimed debut Alchemy, praised by SPIEGEL as “like Kate Bush singing songs by Nick Cave at Berghain.” Her second album Værmin brought international recognition from outlets including FAZ, Wonderland, CLASH, Vogue Japan, and The Irish Times.
In 2024, she released the self-produced EP Agape, and returned in 2025 with her third album Ekko on FatCat Records. The record drew widespread praise, described by CLASH as “a luminous work of emotional excavation” and by The Line of Best Fit as “concise yet expansive.” She followed the release with a European tour and an appearance at The Great Escape.
Her voice and compositions also appear across film and television, including the Netflix feature Munich, HBO’s Generation, Starz’s Three Women, and the German feature Wann wird es endlich wieder so, wie es nie war. In 2025, she completed her first full-length film score, set for release in 2026.
