Molly Otto
Molly Otto is an Arizona-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and electronic artist blending plucky guitar melodies, lush synths, and layered harmonies into a sound that sits at the intersection of electronic, pop, and alternative music. Originally the lead guitarist of a rock band, Molly eventually stepped away from the band scene to build her own solo project—bringing her background as a guitarist and musician into a distinctly electronic world.
In 2022, Molly released her debut EP, Starting Again, writing, recording, producing, performing, and mixing the project entirely herself. She soon expanded her reach with collaborations including “Lonely Light” and “Sonic” with Lamorn on mau5trap, the acclaimed label founded by deadmau5. Her work has also taken her into the world of remixing, with reworks for artists including The Wrecks and Alex Bone, showcasing her versatility as both a producer and artist.
Molly continued to evolve her sound with Snowball, her sophomore EP released through San Holo’s bitbird imprint, followed by a series of singles and remixes that further established her place in the electronic scene. Her music has earned support from artists across the genre, while her live career has included performances alongside deadmau5 and San Holo, as well as appearances at major festivals. With her latest single, “Honest,” Molly Otto continues to carve out a space entirely her own, where guitar-driven songwriting meets forward-thinking electronic production.
